Mr. Kneubuhl (Josh) has spent the last two decades ushering next generation technologies into fruition as successful product ventures. As a Technical Staff Member at IBM Research, Josh is focused on driving innovations in the blockchain into reality, solving problems for customers, and advancing the state of the art for distributed Digital Asset Management and Digital Currencies. Josh currently leads the Hyperledger Cloud-Native Fabric working group, is an active Fabric maintainer, and is passionate about building great teams around great technology. His diverse background spans technical, project, and management for AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, CDN / Live Video Distribution, distributed databases, and Cloud Native computing platforms. Mr. Kneubuhl is a subject expert in declarative dataflow programming, high-volume data streaming, and business process automation frameworks for Machine Learning. Mr. Kneubuhl is passionate about bringing simplicity to complicated systems. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from U.C. Berkeley, and has been writing software since first powering up a Commodore 64.
