Dhinakaran Vinayagamurthy is a Research Scientist at the IBM India Research Lab. His research interests are in cryptography, blockchain and quantum computing. He has research publications in reputed conferences on cryptographic primitives used for computing over encrypted data. At IBM, he has worked on projects around blockchain interoperability, zero-knowledge proofs, secure multi-party computation and encrypted databases, in addition to his exploration around quantum algorithms for finance. He is a maintainer and an active contributor to the Hyperledger Labs project Weaver. Dhinakaran holds a PhD in Computer Science (Quantum Information) from the University of Waterloo, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
