Dr. Ali Emdad is the Associate Dean and Professor of Information Systems at the Graves Business School at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the founder and executive director of the National Center for the Study of Blockchain and Financial Technology (The FinTech Center). Dr. Emdad has organized national and international IT and FinTech conferences. He has offered webinars where he interviewed policymakers and FinTech industry experts. Dr. Emdad has been featured in print and online media on issues related to research and innovation in FinTech education on HBCU campuses. In the most recent All About Blockchain Podcast series, Dr. Emdad spoke about "Diversity and Inclusion In The Blockchain - Crypto Space." Dr. Emdad has more than forty publications in various areas of IT. He focuses on blockchain education, program development, and adoption models. A 2007 Fulbright Scholar, Emdad holds a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University and has completed executive management, leadership, and technical programs at Harvard, Yale, and MIT.
