Hyperledger Global Forum 2022

This is a technical talk discussing in detail the architecture of Hyperledger Iroha and how Iroha is designed to enable CBDC and FinTech use cases. First, notable use cases of Hyperledger Iroha in the Bakong CBDC in Cambodia, as well as numerous proofs-of-concept are used as examples of what Iroha is capable of. Next, the architecture of Hyperledger Iroha v2 is explained. Finally, a quick explanation of how to build apps that use Hyperledger Iroha v2 is presented, showcasing how Hyperledger Iroha can make it possible to create a wide variety of FinTech and payments use cases, from CBDCs to DeFi. This presentation will be aimed at beginners who know nothing about Hyperledger Iroha, but many details will be explained, down to the source code level, with the goal of imparting concrete and actionable knowledge about getting started with Hyperledger Iroha v2.

This session covers the basic idea of YUI and how to use YUI to achieve cross-chain transactions (interoperability) between different blockchains. YUI is a lab to achieve trustless interoperability between multiple heterogenous ledgers using Cosmos' IBC protocol. As YUI supports permissioned blockchains such as Hyperledger Fabric, Hyperledger Besu, Hyperledger Iroha and Corda, enterprise companies such as NTT DATA, JCB and HITACHI have conducted proof-of-concept using YUI. The session will explain how to implement YUI modules to enable interoperability in those use cases above.
