This session will profile the Energy & Mines Digital Trust pilot project — an initiative from the British Columbia (B.C.) government — that is utilizing Hyperledger Indy and Hyperledger Aries to create a digital ecosystem that will allow mining and natural gas operators to provide verifiable proof of their carbon emissions and sustainability efforts. In partnership with multiple stakeholders, this initiative focuses on developing core digital infrastructure, based on self-sovereign identities and digital credentials, to offer better ways to exchange information between government regulators, corporations, auditors, and non-governmental organizations.
