We’ll review some of the important work being done across banks in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the US and discuss the most critical questions being raised about public/private roles, scalability, privacy and regulatability. This session will discuss potential answers and models being proposed to create a balanced system that maximizes monetary stability, convenience, and scalability, while balancing privacy with the requirements for regulation and accountability.
