The speech introduces a use case on how to build a MRV system of carbon emission with Hyperledger Fabric for enterprise or industrial area. With collecting the original data of enterprises with IoT device, they implement accounting and reporting work according to national standards, and establish multi-dimensional monitoring-reporting-verification (MRV) models so provide data for carbon trading. With digital platform based on Fabric and other technologies, the trusted mechanism of carbon emission data is built to avoid artificial tampering in the circulation process. As peers in the Fabric network, it includes the companies that carbon emit, institutes that take charge of MRV process, supervisor from government department, and other public service providers. The blockchain architecture will help them as above share trusted data, and engage all stakeholders to implement all works for whole circle in the ecosystem.
